    Hi Maureen,

I think this is the video that you are looking for. In it, we explain how to restart quilting after a thread break or empty bobbin.
Let us know if you additional information.

    Here is the link: https://gammill.com/topics/1027472/

The video can be found in the new owner training under: Features and Commands – Stitch Commands – Start and Restart Quilting.

    Thanks,
    Kat 🙂

in reply to: Place 2 Pins Patterns #2042529

    Hi Maureen,

To change the pattern so that it will work with ‘End of Set’ instead of ‘place 2 pins’ you will need to adjust the nodes in the last repeat of the pattern (in each row), bringing the endpoint down so that it’s parallel to the lowest point of the pattern.

To do this follow these steps:

Select the pattern you want to use and click on the Edge to Edge icon in your toolstrip. Follow the onscreen prompts to set up the patterns.

When the warning message first pops up tell you that it’s recommended to use ‘place two pins’ just click YES for now (otherwise the warning keeps popping up). Make whatever changes you want to the setup (ie: the number of rows, vertical spacing etc). THEN before you close the setup box, go to the top of it and change the registration to ‘EndofSet’. This time when the warning message comes up click NO, and then click OK in the Setup box to close out of the Setup Box. Now is when you will adjust the Nodes.

Press F7 on your keyboard to access the nodes, and on the last repeat in each row, drag the pink endpoint node down so it’s parallel with the lowest point in the pattern. (you may need to move the blue Arc Nodes as well, as they control the curve in the pattern). Once you have the Nodes where you want them, you can just click on a blank spot on the screen to get out of the Nodes view.

You don’t need to adjust the very last row in the quilt.

    I hope this helps.

    -Kat 🙂
