Use practice and muscle memory to increase your free motion skills with Build-a-Stitch.
Build-a-Stitch is a technique designed for beginners, anyone wanting to increase their free motion skills, as well as those who want to move from pantographs to the front of the machine. Taught by Karen Marchetti, this class includes more than one hour of video instruction and four lessons. An optional workbook is also available for purchase. Build-a-Stitch Book 3
For this class you’ll need a dry erase system (dry erase board, clear sheet protector, dry erase marker, piece of batting for an eraser) or a digital whiteboard, you can also use pencil and paper. You’ll be using these items for practice drawing as well as building muscle memory. If you’d like, you can also load some fabric on your machine and practice your stitching as well. You will be given pause points for drawing and/or machine practice.
