Bill Fullerton, Quilting Artist
Quilting Experience: 6 years longarm quilting
Following a career as a truck driver, Bill purchased his first Gammill longarm quilting machine in April 2003. He started on guild quilts and soon was doing his own heirloom quilting.
Bill entered his first show at MQS 2004 and realized he was hooked on show-quality quilting. His quilts have been entered in contests at AQS-Paducah, The International Quilt Festival – Houston, Colorado, Ohio, MQX and many more. He has completed more than 600 quilts, won 40 ribbons and been featured in five magazines. Bill also is an instructor for Gammill Quilting Systems.
Quilting Tips: The use of an extended base plate along with rice bags helps improve your control over the machine. This is especially useful when doing miniatures.
