Tap Block on the tablet.
Take the machine head to the starting point of the boundary. Tap Add Point. Once the first point is added proceed to move the machine head to the next point and tap Add Point. Repeat this process until you have drawn the boundary. Tap Close Boundary to close the created boundary. If you add a point in the wrong place tap Undo to erase that point. If you want to quit the process tap End Project.
NOTE: A BOUNDARY MUST CONSISTS OF A MINIMUM OF 4 POINTS
Once the boundary is closed, choose either Stitch Boundary (sometimes used for Stitch in the Ditch) or Add Pattern to place a pattern in the selected boundary. To redraw the boundary, tap Undo or to return to the main screen tap End Project.After tapping Add Pattern scroll through the interactive Pattern Manager to find a pattern. Tap on the pattern of your choice to see the Pattern Details. If you tap on the magnifying glass at the top right of the screen you will be able to search for pattern names, keywords, etc.
After selecting the pattern of your choice, you can view the Pattern Details. Tap the Orange Checkmark to select the pattern.
Elevate will begin to autofit the selected pattern to the boundary. You can select Quick Place Pattern to put the pattern into the boundary without auto sizing it.Once the pattern has been fit to the boundary you can begin the quilting process. Tap Start and the machine will proceed to move to the start point of the pattern.
The machine will take a single stitch at the start point and prompt you to pull the bobbin thread up. Hold the top thread between two hands and swoop it under the hopping foot to bring up the bobbin thread. Hold the top and bottom threads. Tap Continue. The machine will begin to take tie off stitches and start stitching the selected pattern.
When stitching is complete, Elevate will prompt you to pull up the bobbin thread. Pull up the bobbin thread by moving the machine to the side, grabbing the top thread, move the machine back to the end point, and taking a single stitch. To take a single stitch use any one of your handle bar switches (Vision models) or the black switch on the left handle bar (Plus models). Cut the threads. Tap Continue to proceed. To exit the function, tap End Project.
