Pam Wingate – Independent Teacher

Pam Wingate has been sewing and quilting most of her life and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Textiles & Clothing from the University of Texas at Austin. Pam began her professional career as a Computer Programmer for EDS/HP.  She retired after 32 years and has finally been able to put her degree to good use! Pam purchased a Gammill Statler Stitcher and started Best Little Quilt House in Texas, a professional longarm quilting business. She currently teaches the Statler Basic Class at Linda’s Electric Quilters in McKinney, Texas. Pam also serves as President of the Quilters Guild of Plano and previously served as VP of Education. Her Education Committee is responsible for the very popular quilting demos at the annual Quilt Plano Show. She enjoys helping customers complete their quilts, designing quilt patterns, teaching both free motion and Statler quilting techniques, and she especially loves helping new Statler owners reach their full potential.
