Service Calls – Alaska, Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida

Please fill out the form below to be included on the next trip of a Gammill Technician through your region.  Currently, this form is only for customers located in Alaska, Texas, Oklahoma and Florida.  For customers in other areas, click here to request a service call.

How often should I have my machine serviced?

Gammill recommends a Technician service your machine every 5 years or every 500 quilts, whichever comes first.

What are the benefits of getting my machine serviced?

Better Stitch Consistency and Appearance

Reduced or eliminated nuisance thread breaks

Machine runs quieter and smoother

Better ability to handle various thread types

More accurate stitch lengths (fewer short or long stitches)

More accurate movement of the machine (for examples, no more flat spots on your circles)

Less likely to “break down” in the future because worn parts are replaced before they fail completely.

How much does service cost?

Standard service calls are scheduled for 3 hours and are $299 plus parts and local tax if applicable.

How much will I have to pay for technician travel?

There are typically NO trip or mileage fees for Route Service appointments.

However, some customers can only be reached by air, or boat, etc.  If you live in a location is very expensive to reach, we will tell you before we confirm your service appointment time.

After I fill out the form, what happens next?

You fill out the form and click “Submit.”

When we are planning a trip to your region we will contact everyone in the area.

You’ll receive an e-mail from us indicating the DATE and TIME that we are proposing for the service appointment.

You send a REPLY letting us know if that appointment time will work for you.

We arrive!
