I thank you for the reply.  I was able to connect with a technician via email yesterday and today, after many hours, I was able to successfully install CS7 and the various Windows updates, as well as work through the other issues tht some users identified, with the patterns not showing up.  Finally I was able successfully stitch some samples.
It was always a NO-NO to connect to the internet, and I look forward to keeping the system files more up to date, as well as using the Pattern Cloud and its features. 
Now I have to re-learn the processes, and hope that I get back to my quilting comfort soon.

Gammill now recommends that you do connect your Statler to the Internet to take advantage of CS automatic updates, Pattern Cloud and tech support assistance.  The protective software Windows has added to their programs has been the reason for this change.  We do recommend you keep Internet usage to on the Internet to a minimum (avoid checking emails, browsing the Internet, etc.). 
However, you should also be able to download the software on a USB from and use it that way as well. Can you tell us more about the error you are experiencing? Tech support is also available at 800-659-8224 ext 2. Thank you!

I am trying to install CS7 to my STATLER.  I was always warned to NEVER connect to Internet--there isn't wireless embedded for that reason.  It seems that NOW with the CS7 upgrade and other SQL files, etc. and associated errors that I am NOW supposed to connect to the internet?  T
he process of downloading to a PC, then putting on a JUMP drive (USB) is NOT working.  I continue to get error messages.  Could use some help, here. 
It seems to be OK in SAM on my tablet, but I need to get this onto the STATLER

 Gammill has released an auto update to CreativeStudio 7.0. If your computer is connected to the Internet, please accept the update when prompted. If your computer is not connected to the internet we at Gammill strongly encourage you to connect. Connecting will allow you to easily receive software updates as well as enhanced help from tech support. If your computer is unable to be connected to the Internet, you can download the update from

 Another of the great enhancements of CS7 is that we are able to send Auto Update notices direct through CS along with the actual updates to the software. This allows us to send smaller more frequent updates and minor fixes, all while keeping the process simple for you the user.

 This particular update is necessary to remove a time out feature that could temporarily deactivate the software. Please accept the update when prompted or you will otherwise risk a disruption in your software until the update is accepted. Should you be unable to update before a disruption occurs simply change the date on your computer to a date prior to 10/15/17, open CS and run the update, then change the date back to the proper date.

Hi there,
I have only seen this issue one other time and I'm afraid you'll have to uninstall CS 7 and Microsoft SQL server 2014 from your laptop and then reinstall CS 6 in order to get CS 6 to work.
We are aware of the issue and we're working to fix it, but we don't have a solution for it yet.

CreativeStudio / CS6 stopped working in SAM

I've been trying to open CS6 in SAM on my laptop.  I previously had no problems.  Now it tries to open and I get an error box that says "Attempted to divide by zero" at the top. The message has a X in a red box and states "An error has occurred, click OK to enter idle mode, click Cancel to exit CS."  I have done both, and it closes it.  I have tried to insert a screen capture of the error here, but have been unable to do so. I have uninstalled CS6 twice, re-downloaded the program, and re-installed it.  I'm at a loss.  I need this program because I'm not up to speed on CS7 yet.  I have not done any updates on my laptop.Please help.

Are you uploading through the cloud website or through CreativeStudio? If you're doing it through the cloud website I don't believe there is a limit. You may have to upload a folder of patterns at a time. I know the most I have tried so far is 100 from the cloud website.

The only other information I have on converting from DXF files pertains to AutoSketch.
I can send you that but I don't know if it would translate to Adobe Illustrator.
